A total flight time of 1 hour. Entire experience is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing for check in, safety briefing and an opportunity to connect with our storytellers.
Platinum Package Details:
Your exclusive private journey begins at the Jasper Hinton Airport, where you'll be greeted by Lauren Moberly - A local Rocky Mountain Cree woman and member of the Aseniwuche Winewak Nation of Canada. Lauren will serve as your guide for this Indigenous helicopter tour. Your pilot will whisk you and Lauren off into the mountains to witness the incredible landscape. While your eyes feast upon the alpine peaks, Lauren will tell stories of the landmarks along the way. Fly part of the path her family took when they were forced to leave their home and walk 200 kilometres to Grande Cache in 1909. Experience the joyous moments of the past and learn the ways of her people. See her historic homestead from an awesome aerial perspective. Ask your questions and get authentic answers while you connect with Lauren. A safe, historical landing has been chosen for you to get out, explore and enjoy a traditional Indigenous picnic! After sufficient time, you'll board your helicopter again as you make your way back to the Jasper Hinton airport. Along this route you'll appreciate the vastness of the Canadian landscape where the flat prairies meet the rockies. Landing back at the airport, we'll wish you well on the rest of your travels with a small gift from the heart ❤️ Please allow approximately 4 to 5 hours of time for this experience.
This tour is offered in the true spirit of truth and reconciliation, with permission & Support from the elders of the Aseniwuche Winewak Nation and the Mountain Métis.

KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK:
- We recommend you book your flight on the first day you are in Jasper. In case of weather delay, there’s still time to reschedule your flight.
- Check in is 30 minutes prior to your flight. If you’re really early we may not be able to greet you as we’ll be out flying, please be patient with us! If you're late for your flight it may be cancelled.
- The location of the Jasper Hinton Airport is correct in all GPS including google maps, approximately 45 minutes east from Jasper, 1 hour if there are sheep on the road! Please come right into the terminal when you arrive. Don’t worry it’s a tiny airport and you’ll find the terminal no problem!
- Please wear clothing appropriate for outdoor activities. No open toed shoes allowed. Windproof and waterproof layer is highly recommended, especially for mountain top landings. Winter mountain landings require winter gear!!!
- Weather- we will do a weather check 2 hrs prior to your flight. If there are any concerns we will call you. Please ensure we have a number we are able to reach you at! If you don’t hear from us 1 hour before your flight, assume it’s a go. Please note: we will not discuss weather prior to 2 hrs before your flight. Weather cancellations will be 100% refunded.
- Aircraft emergencies- sometimes our aircrafts respond to life threatening emergencies such as; back country rescues, wildfires, floods etc. And sometimes our aircrafts are grounded for unscheduled maintenance. In the event one of these situations arise we will ask for your patience and understanding. We will attempt to reschedule your flight. If that is impossible, we will refund your deposit.
- Cancellation policy for our Indigenous Heli Tour is 4 days.
- Landing locations are at the sole discretion of the pilot and decisions are made based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: current and forecasted wind and cloud, weight of the aircraft, pressure altitude, sunlight, wildlife, allotted flight time, legalities of the Jasper National park.
